Welcome to The Murray Grey Foundation and its Military Families Support Fund. Since 2006 we have had the honor to provide for those that ensure our freedom every day.
What we do:
We provide America's military families with financial support and other resources in their time of need. Thanks to generous donations we are able to provide various direct assistance programs to the families of our fighting men and women. We provide programs that range from direct financial assistance for home and car repair, to gift cards for local grocery stores, financial assistance and moving assistance. Whatever the reasonable need these families might have, we work to provide for them.»
Why we do it:
America is a free country and a great country because of the tremendous sacrifice of our fighting men and women. Their families give up their loved ones for the sake of this country each and every day. As a way of thanking all of them for their sacrifice, we created this fund to ease whatever hardship they might be suffering here at home. The need for our fighting men and women is great as is the needs of their families.»
Fact:
There are 1.2 million active military (not counting National Guard), over 21.9 million veterans and 5.5 million disabled veterans as of 2009. In fact, the number of disabled veterans alone has risen by 25% since 2001 and will continue to rise.»
